Why I love working in Raleigh, North Carolina.
On the drive through downtown Raleigh to the Wake County Superior Court or the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, I am delighted to see the transformation of downtown over the years and the addition of city block parks and art murals, a little different than it looked when I attended Broughton Magnet High School in downtown Raleigh many years ago.
When I am lucky enough to get a little extra time, I enjoy stopping by a bakery in downtown Raleigh, within walking distance to the courthouse, or stopping by nearby Pullen Park.
Home of North Carolina State University, Campbell Law, Meredith College, Shaw University, and William Peace University, I enjoy the positive, energetic, and intellectual university atmosphere.
On the weekends, I make take a hike at Lake Johnson Park or Shelley Lake or enjoy Falls Lake State Recreation Area or E. Carroll Joyner Park.
Last, but certainly not least, Raleigh offers a wide variety of delicious and award winning cuisine.
